CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The P.E.I. Business Women’s Association is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special gala evening.

Members and guests will salute the women that have been integral to the success of the organization during the event, which will be held at the Culinary Institute of Canada, 4 Sydney St., Charlottetown, on Oct. 25 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Key PEIBWA members from the past 25 years will be honoured throughout the evening. In addition to speakers, the gala event will include entertainment, culinary delights, door prizes, a cash bar and networking opportunities.

"Women entrepreneurs and business professionals deserve to be promoted, mentored and celebrated,” said association president Sharon Keller. “We recognize the significant impact they have had in Prince Edward Island and we are proud to have been able to support them over the past 25 years."

Speakers for the evening include former P.E.I. premier Catherine Callbeck, along with Cathy Rose, Joy Hanley and Hannah Bell, who each had a role in the growth of the organization over the past 25 years.

Entertainment will include Jill Harris on Celtic harp, and all-woman spot comedy group Side Hustle.

Margaret Magner, executive director, says the association will announce new initiatives for its anniversary year.

“We are thrilled to recognize the accomplishments of the many women who have built this organization.”

Event registration is now open through the organization’s website at www.peibwa.org or by calling 902-892-6040.
