Charlottetown police were pulling over motorists who weren’t observing the rules of the road in June.

Five tickets were issued under the Highway Traffic Act at North River Road and Capital Drive and at Sherwood Road and Route 2, making those two locations the most ticketed areas in terms of moving violations that didn’t involve speeding.

Moving violations would include things like running red lights and stop signs.

Coming in second place was University Avenue at Pond Street (near Papa Joe’s) where four tickets were issued in June.

There was a three-way tie for third place — Grafton Street at Cumberland, Grafton Street at Edward Street and Mount Edward Road at Woodlawn Drive — where three tickets were issued at each location.

There were a number of locations in fourth place — Belmont Street, Brackley Point Road at MacAleer Drive, Kirkwood Drive at University Avenue, North River Road at Buchanan Drive and University Avenue at Chestnut Street — each with two tickets issued.
