Charlottetown Fire Department went to 37 calls in February.
Station 1 on Kent Street had the lion’s share of the work with 23 calls, three of which were the result of a cooking alarm.
There were also two elevator rescues carried out, one ice rescue, two calls that resulted from smoke coming from a building and one actual structure fire.

Station 2 in Sherwood responded to 14 calls, three of which were the result of a cooking alarm, including one structure fire, one garbage fire, one motor vehicle fire (plow catches fire), one sewer gas smell and one motor-vehicle accident.
