A national recall has been issued for Europe’s Best field berry mixes due to possible salmonella contamination.

Hain Celestial Canada is recalling two products from the marketplace while the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation.
The recall is for the brand’s “Field Berry Mix” in 600 g size and “4-Field Berry Mix” in 2 kg.

There have been no reported illnesses association with the consumption of these products. The recall was triggered by a recall in another country.

The CFIA is verifying the recalled product is being removed from the marketplace, while the investigation may lead to the recall of other products.

The CFIA advised that consumers call their doctor if they believe they became sick from a recalled product.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
