Drug seizure in Tignish by joint police force unit

A 53-year-old Waterford man faces drug trafficking charges after being arrested at a traffic stop in Tignish on Thursday.

The Prince District Joint Force Operations Unit, made up of RCMP, Summerside and Kensington police members, arrested the man during the stop where they seized cocaine, crack cocaine and more than $1,500 in cash.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
